kalli siringas

Hi! I’m Kalli Siringas. I’m an interdisciplinary writer and performer working across print, audio and stage. My work is centered around responsible fashion, diet culture and most recently ecosystems in the Aegean Sea—as part of a fellowship with The Pulitzer Center. I write a bi-weekly newsletter on Substack called Thanks for Waiting! that covers fashion, culture and the things worth waiting for. I’ve also contributed as a research assistant to iHeart Radio’s Talk Easy with Sam Fragoso. I’ve been lucky enough to perform in spaces like Carnegie Hall, 92Y, La MaMa ETC and as a Moth StorySlam finalist. Although I’m originally from Michigan, I’ve lived in New York for fourteen years and am still brave enough to wear sandals in the city.

In my spare time I play the drums (brag) and daydream about sustainable clothing practices, body neutrality and bread advocacy.
